I am a manufacturing engineering professional with 15 years experience in the mining and manufacturing industry. I hold a Masters degree in Engineering as well as an MBA.

I have spent the last 3 years specialising in additive manufacturing in a range of high-performance materials for diverse industries. I have a passion for 3D modelling and engineering as well as engineering simulation and component optimisation through generative design. I specialize in the use of the latest in modelling and simulation software to deliver an optimised engineered solution.

I have worked as a project engineer, production manager, operations manager and general manager in a range of industries.

I have 6 years experience in the production of press shop components for electrical equipment, 2 years in the refrigeration industry, a year experience as general manager of a glass processing facility and 6 years’ experience in the mining industry.

I bring over 30 years of expertise in industrial surveying, reverse engineering, and metrology, with a focus on helping clients reduce project risks, improve design accuracy, and accelerate timelines. For the past 8 years, I have specialized in 3D laser scanning, using advanced technologies such as coordinate measuring arms, hand-held scanners, and laser trackers to deliver precise data that drives smarter engineering decisions.

My experience spans a wide range of complex projects, including paper machine installations, aeronautical components, dragline rebuilds, shipbuilding, turbine refurbishments, crusher plants, and large gearbox overhauls. In each of these projects, I have helped clients achieve measurable results by providing accurate, actionable 3D models that eliminate guesswork and minimize costly errors.

As a Professional Surveyor registered with the SAGC, and with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, I bring both technical expertise and a deep understanding of the industrial environment. My commitment is to deliver reliable data and tailored solutions that empower engineers and manufacturers to meet their most demanding challenges with confidence.
